my life is busy but boring, I'd much rather think about flowers than what I get to do all day...

Some more flowers...

Hello to all my loyal fans out there... (yeah, both of you)
I haven't been able to put it off any longer, so here is an update...
More flowers that I should have posted long ago

Starting with some flowering tree that I'm not quite sure what it is...


















Here's my sister-in-law's easter lily from last year or the year before... I'm not sure...































And Finish with one of my mom's Fuschia blossoms, fuschia is one of the most exotic plants we've had at our house.

purty flars

Well, at least I'm not more than a month late... I really don't know why I haven't gotten to it. It's not like I have a lot to do... just the normal stuff, what with the Church shakeup and my parent's 30th anniversary celebration, not to mention pushing a cd through publication and getting ready to sing at a wedding... did I mention I don't know what to do with all my free time?

Well, since I'm here, I might as well show off some pretty pictures, like my mom's pretty red day lily. She's had orange ones for a while, but the red is quite attractive also














Also, the hostas were blooming (I think they might be still out, but these pictures were taken on the fourth of July - oh yeah, they were taken in "RAW" format, so I had to figure out how to deal with them... it's really cool once you figure it out, but it takes a little time.) What was I...? oh yeah, the hostas... here's what an individual flower looks like.













And What summer whould be complete without Queen Anne's Lace? it's one of the constants around here; death, taxes, and the queen anne's lace blooming in the summer. Lace is quite intricate, but I think if we truly examined these flowers, they would prove much more intricate than any lace humans could make... okay, enough sermonizing, look at the picture












Sorry about that, I get onto a thought and forget that I am supposed to be blogging not blabbing...

Long overdue and kinda lame

Since it's been forever since I've updated, I'll just change the color by putting up some of my old faves.

Starting at the top, my brother and sister-in-law's ornamental cherry














Followed by a kind of oddball flower from Dr. Szucs' house, I'm not quite sure what it is... but it hangs straight down, opposite of a sunflower, maybe it's an earthflower...

And concluding this show is a fine rose from my mom's favorite plant.
Actually her favorite is whichever is blooming right now (which makes my computer rank right up there...

Busy boredom

WoW, it's been a while... I've been so busy doing nothing that I haven't had time to do anything. and here I am updating my blog when I really should be designing a cover for my quartet's cd. I guess that will just wait it's turn. There are some gorgeous flowers blooming around here, so I will have to see if I can get some decent pics to post...

And just to say, don't get too caught up in what you think is everything, it may be great and all, but remember... "comparatively, it's all small stuff" This funny looking flower is less than an inch long, and the plant it is on stands about 4 inches high.

okay, I can take anything and make it boring, I admit it. but before you go, check out this flower. it's RED

What's with the obsession with flowers? you ask. Well, I think its that they don't try to move, and I just wanted to take some photos with my new camera, and I got hooked. (Also, there's nothing pretty around where I live, so I have to get close up to find anything attractive to photograph. Any more complaints...

Well, a couple more pics that haven't ever been posted online before. No, I actually have no other things of interest in my life.
I worked today.
I mowed grass today.
I didn't buy chocolate today.

No, really, nothing interesting




okay, not the best pic in all the world, but one of God's gifts to man. I've been thinking lately about how much I enjoy seeing dogwood trees all around. Not only are the flowers an interesting shape and really pretty, the random shape of the trees is pretty cool, especially the way the flowers all point up at the sky, and they seem to seek to be on the same level as other blossoms. you end up with stripes of color in random patterns across the tree.

Oooookaayyy, I'm rambling...
you're still reading???? I mean, seriously, get on to the next picture already!

"Hey!" you may be saying... "Why does he have a flowering pussywillow after the Dogwood???
Dogwoods bloom at least a week or two after the flowering pussywillow is done!!!

Well, now it's out, I'm not putting pics up as I take them, just as I feel like putting them up.

and peach blossoms, our state flower. This one day, there were bees buzzing all around, and of course landing on flowers... it's kinda neat...
